The wasp life cycle.
- In spring time, new queens emerge from hibernation and make a new nests.
- During the summer time wasp nest grows and the colony within the increases in number.
- During the autumn the queen wasp produces males called drones and females, new queens which reproduce.
- At the end autumn, new queens leave their nest to hibernate throughout the winter. These queens emerge from hibernation usually when the first warm days of spring arrive.
